The Aube Yoga Centre was created with the inspiration and will of a group of yogis to give a concrete expression to the spirit of yoga. The teachings follow the Swami Satyananda Saraswati System which combines a large range of yoga practices for body, mind and spirit with the different traditional paths, gyana yoga, bhakti yoga and karma yoga. This type of yoga is called Satyananda Yoga or Bihar Yoga. The successor of Paramahamsa Satyananda, Swami Niranjanananda, is unceasingly continuing to develop and to spread it through the medium of Bihar School of Yoga and Bihar Yoga Bharati (India). The aim is to live yoga, to follow a yogic sadhana (daily practices) and to let our daily life imbibe the spirit of yoga. The Satyananda Yoga aims also to bring together the Yoga and Tantra Traditions coming from the sages of ancient India with the knowledge and way of living of the present-day society.
The Aube Centre is situated in the countryside, 200 km southeast of Paris. The simple atmosphere and daily routine allow everyone to increase personal awareness and to discover the source of inner inspiration.
